Purple Beagle Digital’s customer referral scheme rewards existing customers who recommend our website services to another business or organisation.

Eligibility

The referral scheme is available to current Purple Beagle Digital customers with an active, fully paid account.

The referred customer must:

• Be a new Purple Beagle Digital customer;

• Not already be discussing a website project with us;

• Identify the referring customer before entering into an agreement; and

• Enter into a paid website hosting and maintenance agreement.

Customers cannot refer themselves or another business that they own or control.

Referral reward

For each successful referral, the referring customer will receive an account credit equal to one normal monthly payment under their current website hosting and maintenance plan.

For customers who pay annually, the credit will be calculated as the monthly equivalent of their current annual plan.

When the credit is applied

A referral becomes successful once the referred customer has entered into an agreement and their first payment has been received successfully.

The credit will then be applied automatically to the referring customer’s next available invoice or payment. If the credit exceeds the value of that payment, any remaining amount will be carried forward to the following invoice.

If the referred customer’s first payment is refunded, reversed, disputed or subject to a chargeback, Purple Beagle Digital reserves the right to withdraw the referral credit.

How to make a referral

The referred customer should provide the existing customer’s name or business name when first contacting Purple Beagle Digital.

Alternatively, the existing customer can introduce the new customer directly by email, social media message or another agreed method.

We may be unable to award a credit if the referral is not identified until after the new customer has entered into an agreement.

Using referral credit

Referral credits:

• Are applied only against future Purple Beagle Digital invoices;

• Cannot be exchanged for cash;

• Cannot be transferred to another person or business;

• Cannot be used against an account that has been closed; and

• Cannot be applied retrospectively to payments already collected.

Customers may receive credit for multiple successful referrals. Each qualifying referral will earn a separate credit.

General conditions

Where more than one customer claims the same referral, the credit will normally be awarded to the customer identified by the referred person during their initial enquiry.

Purple Beagle Digital reserves the right to refuse or withdraw a referral reward where there is evidence of misuse, misleading information or an attempt to circumvent the terms of the scheme.

We may amend, suspend or end the referral scheme at any time. Any qualifying referral already confirmed before a change will still receive the agreed credit.
